What is a mosslark?

It's a combination of the slightly antiquated 'lark,' and 'moss.' It's used to refer to an excursion, or an adventure, or a quest of some kind. I actually woke up one morning, leapt out of bed and asked my father to grab the domain name for me. I don't remember what dream sparked it, though. (At least I can lay some of the blame on dreams, right?)

What do you make the comic with?

I use Adobe Illustrator CS2 for the graphics on the website, and the text, speech balloons, panel borders and other such effects. I sometimes use Illustrator for coloring, but mostly I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 or painter. I ink with a koh-i-noor mechanical pen (of various sizes) and occasionally an American Painter script brush (size 10/0.) I usually ink comic pages on 11 x 14 " Strathmore Bristolboard; I also ink on plain typing paper. I pencil with .5 and .3 mechanical pencils and a 2H lead pencil.
