About the Comic and the Artist

This is more of a general about page, though the button says "about the artist." Heh heh. I'll get around to fixing this later.

I'm S. A. Welland, artist and writer of Mosslark. I'm currently re-writing the storyline for the comic and working on another story; this webcomic is intended to be my "learning" project, but also something fun to do on the weekends. (When I have time. Hah.)

Webcomics I read...

Outsider is a beautifully drawn comic of the Space Opera genre; the flow of the story is almost cinematic. Anyway, it's one of my favorites.

An epic fantasy comic, and one of the first webcomics I found. Gorgeous artwork.

Another favorite, and another Space Opera. 'Chaypeta' has a lovely, dynamic style.

Clan of the Cats has an amazing, elaborate story spanning at least six or seven years worth of archives. I especially like the diversity of the characters; they're all very 3-dimensional.

A very clever, engaging comic. It has a sort of manga-inspired style, and a lot of fairy tale references.

Another long one, with a complex storyline and character interaction. I love the way Kat colors. xD
